Steam Brush​

The Automatic Conveyor Belt Cleaning Unit uses dry steam vapour and brush agitation to thoroughly clean and sanitise conveyor belts. The Steam Brush system comprises of four parts: the cleaning head, underbelt tray, control panel and cleaning agent (usually steam vapour emitted from a steam cleaner machine). It can be used as a portable unit for downtime cleaning on different conveyor belts or permanently mounted as a CIP system on a single belt.

The Steam Brush system allows the belt to be cleaned in place within the conveyor, reducing the cleaning time and ensuring consistency in cleaning. This minimises downtime and allows the belt to be quickly ready for production.

Using the Steam Brush system also minimises water usage, typically less than 20 litres per hour, saving on water costs and effluent disposal. The vacuum extraction in connection to the steam vacuum cleaner such as Jetvac Major or Steambox Vac Pro allows the belt to be vacuumed and dried quickly after deep steam cleaning, making the belt ready for immediate use.

The Steam Brush unit is suitable for production facilities without built-in drainage, due to its low water requirements and vacuum extraction. Advantages of using the Steam Brush system include improved labour utilisation and a consistent and uniform cleaning regime due to the mechanical action of the brush agitation.
